Imitation of art and design// Art imitates life
Everything began with a simple and to me unexplored idea about our obsession with functionality and practical design in the swedish society. With further exploration I realized the limitations with this mindset and from there on I wanted to infuse the artistic perspective on design. A mockery to function and a way to mediate my thoughts on the exploring space between art and design, but also how I personally reflect myself in these artworks. I am just like these pieces. I as a woman, shall not be a function for someone else's usage.
